Publishing changes

Flows are versioned. Editing does not change what your visitors see until you publish.

Every flow has a draft — your working copy — and, once you publish, a published version, which is the one the embedded widget actually serves.

This is what lets you rework a flow in the middle of a working day without showing a half-finished form to visitors. Edit freely; publish when it holds together.

Older versions become archived when a new one is published. They stay on the record, so a lead captured last month remains attached to the flow as it was worked at the time.

Publishing takes the current draft and makes it live. The embedded widget picks it up without you touching the snippet on your site — the script always fetches the current published version, so the embed code never changes.

Before you publish:

  • Walk the whole flow in the preview, including every branch.
  • Check that the last step is an Email step, or you will collect estimates and no leads.
  • Try a couple of answer combinations and confirm the price is what you expect.

Pricing rules are attached to a flow version. A price you change on the draft takes effect for visitors when you publish, in the same step as the questions — so a rule change and a question change ship together, and a rule can never reference a question that is not live yet.
